Maternity Portraits in Uxbridge, Ontario

There is pleasure in the pathless woods, there is rapture in the lonely shore, there is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar; I love not Man the less, but Nature more.- Lord Byron

Erin grew up in Uxbridge, Ontario, where her grandparents lived close by on a farm just North of the town. There is something so peaceful about the seclusion of the country. A place where you can clearly hear your thoughts, slow down and appreciate nature in all of it’s beauty. With the prospect of the family farm going on the market this year, it was clear that this was the perfect location for this couple’s maternity and family portraits. Erin and Adam balance each other perfectly and have very quickly become one of my favourite couples. Ever.

I recently photographed their family portraits and let me tell you, they have one adorable little girl. More from that session soon. But first, a few images from their maternity shoot.

Shot in both digital and film. Scanned + developed by Caribou Film Lab.
